Rock the Youth 2011 in Springfield, MA featured Alter Call Band and Nashville’s 33 Miles. Concerts Unlimited LLC provided a complete In Ear Monitor (IEM) system for 33 miles and conventional wedges for the opener, Alter Call Band. The rig was comprised of Fulcrum Acoustic DX1565, FA28, and JBL SRX728S speakers. The lighting rig was comprised of four Martin MAC250s, eight Chauvet Colorband Tri LED strips, Diversitronics 3000 strobes, and lots of haze. The show was an incredible success.
Siloam performed at Regenerate 2011 complete with an LED light show and the now-standard Fulcrum Acoustic rig.
On July 30, 2011, Edgar J Cruz hosted a release concert for his new CD, Yo Me Acercare. The lighting rig was comprised of over 20 LED and conventional fixtures and the sound system thundered with three LAB subwoofers and four Fulcrum Acoustic DX1565s, two configured as FOH and two configured as front fills.
Another two DX1295s were used as main vocal wedges and the rest of the band used either JBL PRX600 series or RCF ART300 series monitors. Everything was powered with five Crown IT5000HD amplifiers with a total system power of over 30,000 watts.

Another cool show where we had a large band in a tough room, but we pulled it off flawlessly. The house lighting crew was great and supplemented our rig perfectly.

In search of a more compact, durable, portable speaker, Concerts Unlimited just bought several RCF ART310A plastic powered speakers. Though they are plastic, they perform very well and sound very good, nearly as good as our JBL PRX600 powered speakers. At about half the price, though, they will make a more budget-friendly speaker for our rentals and smaller shows.
